About the Authors

Devonne

I am 24 year old naturalist, conservationist, and amateur wildlife photographer, with a background in Forensic Biology. I have a broad love for all things nature, but in particular ocean wildlife and ecology, and I have recently completed a Masters degree in Ecology and Conservation. Through photography, we like to highlight the under-appreciated wildlife, and the issues they face. This blog seemed a natural succession, and we hope to explore and shed light on the lesser known species, and the conservation issues they face.

I am a 25 year old molecular microbiologist, studying for a PhD at the John Innes Centre in Norwich. A passionate amateur wildlife photographer, and ardent conservationist, I hope to inspire others to appreciate and protect wildlife, preserving our most precious landscapes and ecologies. I have a particular soft spot for birds of prey, but love and appreciate all living things. There is no shortage of wildlife worldwide that fails to be appreciated or see vast publicity like well-known endangered species, but faces the same threats of extinction. I hope to give some of these species the attention they deserve, and promote efforts to conserve them while we still can.
